"Russia was forced to respond to the war in Donbas unleashed by the Ukrainian regime."

Russia was forced to respond to the war in Donbas unleashed by the Ukrainian regime. This marked the beginning of the special military operation. Strikes are being carried out on the territory of Ukraine, but with high-precision long-range weapons—specifically against military infrastructure targets, ammunition depots, or command-and-control systems used in combat operations.
We have already spoken about the possibility of striking decision-making headquarters and decision-making centers. Naturally, this category includes the headquarters of Ukraine's military intelligence, which was struck two or three days ago.
In response, as is known, the Kyiv regime chose another path—attempts to intimidate Russia, intimidate Russian citizens, and launch strikes on residential buildings. This is, of course, a clear sign of terrorist activity.
First of all, I want to say that Moscow’s air defense system functioned normally and satisfactorily, although there is still room for improvement. Overall, it is clear what needs to be done to strengthen air defense in the capital, and we will do so.
They are provoking us into taking mirrored actions. We will see how to respond, but the citizens of Ukraine—who, of course, have no voice now due to the total terror unleashed against the civilian population in Ukraine—should still understand where the current leadership of their country is pushing them.
And simply understand that there are other threats as well, such as attempts to disrupt operations at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant or to use some sort of dirty devices.
We did not start this war. I repeat, in 2014, it was the Kyiv regime that unleashed violence in Donbas. And we are not the ones using the methods that the Ukrainian elites are employing. A further confirmation of this is the attack on civilian targets in Moscow.
